Google Image Search now has the option to search for images in the public domain or labeled for reuse. Great for bloggers, great for artists, great for everyone.

I find this feature pretty useful, though the no of clicks is too much, they should have added some direct option from Google image search page instead of advanced search.

Google likes to keep things on their main search pages clean and simple. Sounds like something that could be made into a Greasemonkey script though! Also, if you use keyword searches in Firefox you should be able to make one that searches for labeled for reuse images.

I really like this feature. It’s really easy to find. Just a simple drop down menu in the advanced search and you’re good to go.
