Pop Quiz!: Mermaid Dilemma

You are alone on an uninhabited island. Which of these would you choose as your companion?

My first thought is that you could probably convince A to carry you somewhere more populated while B would probably flop around for a bit before completely asphyxiating. That’s just my logic though. Opinions?
