What’s New and Upcoming with Toaster Labs
Sorry, no tits or memes in this post.
People who visit the main site instead of reading through the RSS feed have probably noticed I changed the site layout. Any opinions? My knowledge of webdesign and construction is firmly rooted in 1999, so I’ve done the best I can with these limits and the free WordPress theme Stilbruch. Mostly I chose it because of the snazzy colors in the margins.
I’m not sure how long this theme will last. I like the simplicity of the one column layout, but I find myself wanting to add extra functionality to the site and not knowing where to put it so that it will be visible.
Ideally one of Toaster Labs readers will strike it rich soon, and filled with love for this blog and myself, will decide to become my patron, paying for a professional custom design.
…Where was I? I apologize for any missing features that disappeared when I changed themes. Subscribing to comments should come back today, as well as search.
New features that I’m considering include: A theme for viewing on mobile devices, ability to use avatars when you comment (Any opinion on Gravatars? Are they tacky or useful?), ability to mark favorite posts for easy lookup later. If you would enjoy any of these features, or have other ideas, please comment.

Ah yes, I have been sucked into another one of these social-media, points for doing nothing scams. This one is differant though! Even though I’ll soon get tired of “checking-in” to whatever media I’m experiening, I’ll hopefully come away with some cute stickers for my laptop.
